Charlie Birney
worked for 27 years as a property manager as well as a project manager at The Brick Companies. (Queenstown Harbor Golf, South River Golf, and Potomac Ridge). During that time he served on the board of the Maryland Tourism Council as well as the National Golf Course Owners Association and founded a corporate non-profit: The Brick Companies Foundation. His experience with promoting the charitable work of the Foundation led him to utilize digital media and to understand the value of podcasting early on.
Oscar Zeballos, MBA
Oscar Zeballos has been a pioneer in the podcasting industry since 2005, earning recognition as a thought leader through his work on top-rated shows. He received his Executive MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2016 and was named Entrepreneur of the Year by UMD’s Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship in 2018. As CEO of Podville Media, he leads a team producing award-winning podcasts for nonprofits, major broadcast networks, celebrities, and global corporations. He also serves on the Board of the Ed Snider Center for Enterprise and Markets.
